Wanted: Pie Recipes
It was my turn to choose a book for book club and I chose American Pie: Slices of Life (and Pie) from America's Back Roads by Pascale Le Draoulec. I read this book years ago and have loved it ever since. I love the stories people share about the role of pie in their lives. Everyone is coming to my house on Thursday to eat pie, swap recipes, and share stories. I can hardly wait. Do you have a favorite pie recipe? Or pie memory? Please share.

Sadly, I have no good pie recipes. And, I am also late. People have come to eat pie and gone already, I believe. So sorry.
One of the simplest pies I ever made involved vanilla instant pudding and a pre-packaged graham cracker crust. The pudding mix calls for milk, but I replaced it with egg nog, poured the mixture in the crust, let it set up, and took it to a Christmas party. It's so easy that I'm not even sure it's fair to call it a pie.
